1.    General

1.1   The Euro “X” Hockey Tour (further “EXHT”) is the series of individual EA Sports NHL leagues, named XLeague, playing online (further “league”) with Xbox 360 game console.

1.2   The main “goal” of the EXHT is to create a great community of players from Europe who want to:

        a)  Play NHL leagues more frequently;

        b)  Be rated in comparison to others players;

        c)  Have a fun with his/her Xbox 360’s NHL games for longer time;

        d)  Find new friends with the same interests.

1.3   Each player joined to a league(s) becomes a member of the EXHT community automatically.

1.4   The EXHT rules are “open”. They can be changed, if any reason for that. If you have any suggestions or ideas for rules, contact the Admin. Only the EXHT members can discuss or vote about the rules changes, if necessary.

2.    Administrator

2.1   Administrator (further “Admin”) of the EXHT is Filco28 (email: filco11@seznam.cz, Xbox Gamer Tag: Filco28).

2.2   The Admin is responsible for:

       a)  Creating and publishing of the list of players ranked in the EXHT.

       b)  Updating the EXHT Standings.

       c)  Publishing and Updating of the EXHT Rules.

       d)  Publishing of league systems/structures and final standing rules before beginning of each league.

       e)  Publishing excuses of players for the entire league.

2.3   Admin has right to:

       a)  Create the league system and structure, and if necessary to change it.

       b)  Define rules to determine final standings in the leagues.

       c)  Determine a number of points earned for final standings in the leagues. A scheme of earned points must be published in the EXHT rules (see 4.3).

       d)  Make a final decision at questionable problems concerning the EXHT and the particular league.

3.    EXHT Structure and System

3.1   The EXHT is formed by the series of the leagues playing in irregular intervals. Leagues’ structures and settings are specified below (see 6.).

3.2   Only finished leagues will be added to the EXHT.

3.3   Only players who finished individual league(s) will be added to the EXHT Standings. “To finish a league” means that a player has to play 75% of the league games (round up) in the regular season.

4.    EXHT Standings

4.1   When a league is finished final standings of the league must be published. Rules to determine the final standings are specified by the Admin before beginning of the league.

4.2   Each player of the league(s) receives points according to the scheme specified by the Admin. The scheme of earned points for final standings is always the same for all leagues.  

 

4.4. The EXHT Standing for each player is defined by the sum of points earned in individual league(s).

4.5  If the sum of points is the same, determination of the standings is done according to rules specified below:

      a)  The greater number of played individual leagues by the tied players;

      b)  The greater number of finished teams acting in all played individual league(s) by tied players;

      c)  The greater number of earned points in regular season(s) of all played league(s) by the tie players.

5.    Communication

5.1  The good communication is the most important part of the league. It is done by a proposal of date and time when to play the scheduled game.

5.2  There are 2 channels for communication:

       a)  Primary: Xbox 360 messages;

       b)  Secondary: League’s Forum on the EXHT website.

5.3  Each player has to replay to all messages / proposals from the opponents in the shortest available time.

6.    League Structure and System

6.1  The league has to be created as “Private” (with a password) and only for players from Europe.

6.2  The minimum number of players in a league is 6 (six) and maximum number is 30 (thirty).

6.3  Only league results and standing chart(s) published by the Admin on the EXHT website are valid.

6.4  The league consists of one group. Each player will play two times (home / away) with all his/her opponents in the group(s).

6.5  The regular season of th league shall be finished by the deadline. The deadline is specified before beginning of the league. The average of 3 (three) games per week for each player will be used to determine the deadline.

6.6  Sending Results

      A) SEASON - A winner has to send a match result to the Admin as soon as possible after the match is finished in form "Team X - Team Y a:b (OT if necessary)". Example: NYR - SJS 1:2OT). Only results sent to the Admin will be added and calculated to the league(s).

      B) PLAYOFF - Both players have to send a match result to the Admin as soon as possible after the match is finished.

6.7  Each team/player receives number of points according the scheme below:

       a)  Winner in the regular time or in the overtime................. 2 (two) points;

       b)  Loser in the overtime.................................................. 1 (one) point;

       c)  Loser in the regular time.............................................. 0 (zero) points.

6.8  Standings during the regular season of a league is determined according rules specified below:

       a)  The greater number of points earned in games of the regular season.

       b)  The greater number of points earned in games between tied players.

       c)  The greater differential between goals for and against in games of the regular season.

       d)  The higher number of goal for in games of the regular season.

6.9  The number of teams for playoff :

      a)  Teams in a league:   6 – 10............... 4 (four) teams for playoff;

      b)  Teams in a league: 11 – 19............... 8 (eight) teams for playoff;

      c)  Teams in a league: 20 – 30............... 16 (sixteen) teams for playoff;

6.10  Playoff Matches

        A)  All playoff matches are played as “4 best of 7” and according to the rule “the best team against the worst team”. The sequence of the playoff matches is:

             a)  2 (two) matches at home of the better team,

             b)  2 (two) matches at home of the worse team,

             c)  1 (one) match at home of the better team,

             d)  1 (one) match at home of the worse team and

             e)  1 (one) match at home of the better team.

        B) All plyoff matches will be played as unranked vs. matches.

6.11  Final Standings of a league is determined according rules specified below. If a league has less than 30 (thirty) players, the rules 6.11 can be modified, but the their main principle will be the same.

      a)  1st place – Winner of the final playoff matches

      b)  2nd place – Loser of the final playoff matches

      c)  3rd – 4th place – Losers of the 3rd round of the playoff matches

      d)  5th – 8th place – Losers of the 2nd round of the playoff matches

      e)  9th – 16th place – Losers of the 1st round of the playoff matches

      f)   17th – 30th place – Players whose will not proceed to the playoff.

6.12  Rule to determine Final Standings specified in 6.11 c) - f) is done by better standing in the regular seson.

7.    Team Draft

7.1  Team Draft for leagues will be done in rounds and only in terms specified by the Admin. The sequence for a team allocation is the same for all rounds and is determined by the sequence in which players send information to the Admin that they want to play the league. 

7.2  Teams for the next leagues of the EXHT are selected according rules specified below:

      a)  Round 1 – players whose finished the previous league and did not proceed to playoff.

      b)  Round 2 – players whose finished the previous league and played playoff.

      c)  Round 3 – players already joined the EXHT and wanting to play a next league.

      d)  Round 4 – new players wanting to join the EXHT and play the league.

7.3  There is no rule that a player has always to use the same team for all leagues.

8.    Fair Play Rule

8.1  A player should not:

      b)  repeat same goal attempt all the time (constant wraparound trying for example) or

      c)  kill time in the own end when he/she has the lead.

8.2  A player should play fair and respect the opponent.

8.3  If a player sees someone playing unfair, he/she should send message to the Admin. If player gets many of these unfair game play accusations, the Admin will look in to it and kick the player out if necessary.

8.4  If a player is kicked out (disqualified), all his/her played games will be deleted from the league’s results.

8.3   A name of disqualified player(s) will be published on the Black List. The name(s) will be removed from the Black List immediately when he/she finishes any league of the EXHT.

9.    Conclusion

9.1 All players joined the EXHT accept this rules, will act according to them, will play fair and will behave respectably to all opponents.
